- Almond cake recipe:
- 150 grams sugar
- 2 eggs
- 175 grams cultured butter, at room temperature
- 250 grams flour
- 1 cup whole milk
- 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1 tsp. almond extract

- Frosting:
- 280 grams icing sugar
- 4 Tbsp. heavy cream
- Chambord liqueur as needed (preferred) or use red berry juice or red food coloring
Instructions
- Combine the sugar, eggs and butter and stir until the mixture is light.
- Add the rest of the ingredients and stir well. Put into a bundt pan and bake at 180° C (350° F) for 40 minutes.
- For the frosting:
- Stir all ingredients together, add enough red juice, food coloring or Chambord to obtain a good pink color.
- The icing must be poured over the cake while it is still warm.
