- Composition for 3 half-liter jars - so, please divide these ingredients individually into 3 jars:
- Grapes of your choice - TFD prefers a mix of green and red
- 1 liter of water
- 1 cup / 200 g sugar
- 1/2 cup / 100 g of vinegar from a bottle of white horseradish
- 3 aspirin pills
- 3 sprigs fresh dill
- 3 sprigs fresh tarragon
- 3 tiny sprigs fresh mint
- 3 cloves
- 3 bay leaves (preferably fresh)
- 3 tsp. coriander seeds
- 3 tsp. Mustard seeds
- 3 allspice berries
- 3 star anise points
Instructions
- Before pickling the grapes, you should wash the ½ liter jars with water combined with baking soda, rinse well, and then sterilize them for 10 minutes with very hot water.
- In a bowl, add some ice-cold bottled water, lower in bunches of grapes, and rinse them well. Remove the grapes from the stems.
- Boil the liquid ingredients and sugar. Let cool until ice-cold in the freezer.
- In the prepared jars, add the grapes, spices and herbs and add an aspirin tablet to each jar.
- Pour over the grapes in the jar, seal and let them cool, then keep in the fridge for at least 2 weeks before enjoying.
