The Hirshon Cheese Ball

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 5 oz. Stilton blue cheese (room temperature)
  • 8 oz. scallion cream cheese (room temperature)
  • 5 oz. sharp white Cheddar (grated & @ room temperature)
  • 3 oz. Fiore Sardo cheese (grated and @ room temperature)
  • 3 tsp. Vidalia or Walla Walla onion juice
  • 1 1/2 tsp. garlic juice
  • 1 tbsp. Woodford Reserve bourbon
  • 1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 4 strips bacon, cooked, cooled, and crumbled
  • 1/2 tsp dark brown sugar
  • 1 tsp Tabasco
  • dash curry powder
  • chopped fresh parsley mixed with finely chopped pecans or walnuts

Instructions

  1. Mash all together except parsley and chopped nuts.
  2. With hands, roll mixture into round ball.
  3. Roll ball in nuts and parsley. Let sit in fridge for at least 18, preferably 24 hours, serve at room temp.
