Citizens! I, the mighty TFD, the wellspring of all culinary wisdom, am here to slake your unending thirst for good news! 🙂
Of course, nothing can improve the mightiness of TFD’s recipes, resplendently ensconced as the ne plus ultra of all things foodie and authentic.
However, TFD’s website can always be improved, and improved it we have!
Recipes are now in a new, easier-to-read and most importantly, easy-to-print format! Just click the “print” link next to the recipe title in the post and the recipe will print (without images to save your printer ink), and in easy-to-follow steps!
I have already modified the last few recipe posts to use this format, and all future posts will as well. Over the coming weeks, I will go back through the more than 500 previous recipes posted and do the same to them.
We paid for a great solution, and while expensive, nothing is too good for TFD Citizens! If you are so inclined, please feel to click the button at the bottom of the post to make a donation and help TFD pay the very expensive costs of running this blog (currently more than $500 per month).
Even $3 per month (or whatever you feel is appropriate) makes a difference! If you think that TFD has improved your culinary abilities and knowledge, then by all means, show your appreciation – at $3, you can’t buy a cup of decent coffee for this price! 🙂
Thank you for all your time and enjoy the new upgrade, Citizens!
Battle on – The Generalissimo
Citizens, please note that I can no longer afford to absorb the nearly $1000 per month it costs to keep the site running smoothly, including marketing expenses, etc. There is, however, a solution that benefits us all – one that will help to avoid the only other alternative, which is to add obnoxious ads throughout the site.
Become a Citizen Prime for only $4 per month and receive exclusive recipes, 3 free historic cookbook scans, discounts from TFD sponsors and so much more! For less than the cost of 1 Starbucks coffee, you can keep TFD Nation strong and proud! Details are here.
